Fringe 2017: Advances in the Science and Applications of SAR Interferometry & Sentinel-1 InSAR

The main objectives of the workshop are:

  • Bring together the global InSAR community;
  • Present latest InSAR results exploiting Sentinel-1 data and S-1A/B interferometry;
  • Provide a forum for ESA PIs and scientists to present InSAR projects results;
  • Assess the maturity of InSAR applications and the state of the art in the field;
  • Facilitate international exchange on InSAR Research, development and applications;
  • Present the Sentinel-1 mission status, algorithms and products;
  • Review and assess the progress according to the recommendations voiced at FRINGE 2015;
  • Consult scientists to prepare ESA for starting supporting science activities for
    Sentinel-1.
