    Hi Everyone,

My colleagues and I at NewCities are launching a series of live discussions on the impacts that COVID-19 could have on the "status quo" of planning and policy in cities, big and small. We're calling the series The Big Rethink, and our first of eight weekly episodes will run this Tuesday, April 7, at 12:00 EDT, with a focus on public space. This guests for our first week are Jeanne Gang (Studio Gang), Christopher Hawthorne (City of Los Angeles), and Richard Sennett (Columbia University).

My colleague Greg Lindsay will be hosting the discussion and I'll be collecting questions through Zoom's 'Q&A' feature throughout the episode and posing them to our guests. We'll be hosting the audio online following the event, but we'd love to have a good showing in the first week and gather some feedback on what people think we're doing right (and, of course, where there's room for improvement).

    Links are below :)

Wishing you all the very best!

    Michael
