AZTI's postdoc Sarai Pouso, and some colleagues from the University of Exeter (Prof. Lora Fleming and Mat White) and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (Prof Erik Gómez-Baggethun), have started research to investigate the connection that blue-green outdoor spaces can have in our well-being during the COVID-19 lockdown (so, the benefits to humans from ecosystem services in this situation).
They have prepared an internet survey, totally anonymous, which we are distributing all around the world. Our aim is collecting this information and then look if the availability of such spaces can have an effect in our moods and emotions.
The link is here: https://forms.gle/x2wVhC3nBqosfw1W6 and it can take 10 minutes to be filled in.
It is quite important to have responses from as many countries as possible, as well as many people as possible from each country (until now, we have received over 4000 responses from 60 countries).
