    Hi all,
I would like to share with you my research findings. I combined my background in finance and consultancy along with my Masters in strategy to provide framework that enables economic growth while attaining sustainable development. This framework could be the solution for our current enviromental crisis as it provides a win-win solution for both sides: The industry and the Environment. Please find attached a one page summary of my findings. Looking forward for your feedback!

    Maya,
With all due respect, there is nothing in your research summary that indicates that you know anything at all about the "environment".  I suggest you familiarize yourself with the concept of ecosystems before you make such an outlandish claim that you have come up with a win-win for industry and the environment.
Suggest you read Edward O. Wilson's book 'Half Earth'.  You might also read my book 'Gross Deceptive Product' which explains in simple terms why economic growth is not sustainable.
    Expand your thinking!!!

Hi Russell, thank you for your feedback. I understand your point of view. However, we need to also understand that due to the scale, gravity, and significance of the climate challenge, it is imperative to get the corporate sector involved in solving the environmental problem. Naturally, this highly desired broad buying-in from the corporate sector will not take place if the proposed solution hinders the corporate's sector ability to cater to its own investors which consequently means hindering its own survival. The coporate sector and governments are not continuing on doing business as usal because they are simply "evil", it is because their own survival as organisations is tight with constraints. We really need to put ourselves in the other party shoes if we are to find a feasible solution for our one common sinking ship.
My thesis addresses the major barrier the private sector faces in investing in sustainability: Short-Termism. My work points out to a huge untapped growing market demand that demand green products at price and quality close to par with the conventional ones. I gave the example of Beyond Meat and it success in delivering green products to the masses: generating outstanding short and long terms gains while reducing the green gas emissions of the burger production process by 90%. I believe this a huge step and could very well be the bridge solution we need to leap to a more sustainable future. Looking forward for your valuable comments.

    Maya,
Excellent defense of your thesis.  My apologies for being overly critical with my first reply.  I do hope though that you are taking a holistic view of sustainability.
