I am pleased to announce a special session on nexus issues at the Universities Council on Water Resources (UCOWR) meeting this June 11-13, 2019 in Snowbird, Utah. This will be an exciting session titled, "Between Science and Policy: Toward Closing the Gap between Scientists and Policymakers in the Water-Energy-Food Nexus." Please find the session description attached.

If you have a project you would like to present on any relevant aspect of nexus issues, we invite you to submit an abstract.
Abstracts are due by Friday February 8th and should not exceed 300 words.

To submit an abstract, click on this URL:
    https://ucowr.org/2019-conference/abstract-submission/

Near the bottom of the page there is a drop-down menu asking if you were asked to choose a session. Please select (Hannibal/Daher/Portney) Between Science and Policy: Toward Closing the Gap between Scientists and Policy-makers in the Water-Energy-Food Nexus. We are looking for full length talks (approx. 15 minutes).

We thank you for considering this session, particularly on such short notice. If you have any questions, please direct them to Bryce Hannibal (Bryce.hannibal@tamu.edu).

    Best wishes,

    Bryce Hannibal
