I am a climate policy analyst with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's Office of Climate Change, where I work primarily on climate change adaptation and resilience planning and policy strategies. I am a lecturer at the University at Albany (State University of New York) in the Biodiversity, Conservation and Policy program. I previously worked for the NYS Coastal Management Program on coastal resilience policy issues and initiatives in the Great Lakes (Lake Ontario and Lake Erie), Atlantic coast and Long Island Sound. I have a background in government policy and administration, with a focus on interdisciplinary natural resources, environmental and social policy and governance focusing on climate change and resilience. I hold a PhD in environmental/natural resources policy and administration from Northern Arizona University. I am the creator of the EarthQuest scenario and simulation game (#EarthQuestGame).
