Robert is the author of Urban Water Security (Wiley), The Green Economy and the Water-Energy-Food Nexus (Palgrave Macmillan), Blue and Green Cities (Palgrave Macmillan), and Natural Resource Management and the Circular Economy (Palgrave Macmillan).
He is editor of the Climate Resilient Societies book series with Palgrave Macmillan.

Robert has presented at international water conferences hosted by the International Water Association, American Water Works Association and The Water Show Africa.
As a geologist, he has also graduated in Economics and Finance and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Antarctic Studies (including Antarctic field research on the Ross Ice Shelf) and a Master of International Law and Politics
